Isaac met Lind in 2012 while he was working on Inside Llewyn Davis. The dark comedy follows a folk singer played by Isaac in the early 1960s trying to make a name for himself in Greenwich Village. Isaac told NPR that one of the ways he researched his character was by going to parties and interacting with people the way Davis would. Apparently, Lind was at one of these gatherings. “I went to a party, and I was forced to be at this party, and I went dressed as Llewyn," Isaac explained. “It was a month before shooting.
